PTA Groups and Activities
The work that PTA does can be broken into several different categories. The PTA provides volunteers and/or funds to support many different areas of the school in order to enrich the educational experience provided.
PTA BOARD
The PTA Board is the governing body of the PTA and is responsible for making recommendations about the use of PTA funds that are then brought to the General PTA Membership for approval. The Board has 12 elected parent positions and also includes two teacher representatives and the Matthew Turner Principal. The Board meets once a month, and holds meetings for the general PTA membership three times a year. The school NewsNote and website provide the dates for upcoming meetings, and all parents and PTA members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

FUNDRAISING
The PTA holds several different fundraisers over the course of the year. The largest fundraisers are the Dolphin Dash Fun Run held each fall, and the Auction held each spring. Other fundraisers include the Fall Book Fair, holiday See's candy sales, Spirit Wear sales and Box Tops for Education.
