As you know we will be voting at tomorrow's general PTA meeting. It was unexpected that we would be holding elections virtually, so please bear with us as we do our best to follow California PTA guidelines while conducting voting in an efficient way. Here is the process that we will follow tomorrow:
- While the meeting will begin at 7:00 PM, members wishing to vote must be present and accounted for by 7:30pm. Please announce your presence by entering your full name into the chat box. If there is more than 1 voting member dialing in from the same device, please be sure to enter the full names of the other members in the chat box, so we know they are present at the meeting.
- Any individual who would like to self-nominate for a position on the board must be present and accounted for by 7:15 PM so their name can be added to the ballot prior to voting.
- Ballots will be emailed to each present voting member during the meeting, at approximately 7:35 PM. Members will have about 5 minutes to complete the ballot.
- Voting results will be shared before the end of the meeting.
