First International Night Committee meeting is tomorrow, at 7pm in the MPR. Join us if you'd like to help plan this fun event or just want to volunteer the day of. If you would like to help but can't attend the meeting, reach out to Gigi Villanueva [email protected]  The annual Dolphin Dash FUN RUN kicks off tomorrow, with a pep rally hosted by our friends at Boosterthon, who help coordinate our fun run from beginning to end. The Fun Run isn't until October 3, but starting tomorrow you can start collecting pledges. For those of you new to Turner, check out these FAQs to get started. Here are some photos of last year's Fun Run, to give you an idea of what it looks like on the big day - there's music, a marked course, Boosterthon cheerleaders encouraging the runners and lots of fun! 
   MTE Parents and Families! We’re only ONE WEEK AWAY from kicking off the Dolphin Dash Fun Run fundraiser! This year, our goal is to raise $30,000 We can’t wait to have fun with our students as we help our school! Be on the lookout for more information soon!
Our annual International Night is not until January 10, 2020, but the planning starts now! If you are interested in being a part of the International Night committee, please come to the first meeting on Thursday, September 26, from 7-8pm in the MPR. There are only about 4 meetings total, but many hands are needed. All are welcome!  The garden committee will be back at it this coming Sunday, Sept 15th from 9am-11am. We’ll have doughnuts again :) Please bring shovels or rakes if you can, hope to see you there!  Upcoming Book Fair starts this SUNDAY - come meet Dog Man! Here is a link to our online fair and a direct link to sign up for E-wallet... a way for your student to shop with a set spending limit with or without you there at the fair!

Last name ending in A - L: Tuesday September 10 Last name ending in M - Z: Wednesday September 11 TK-1ST Grade: 11:30am - 12:10pm 2nd-3rd Grade: 12:15pm - 12:55pm 4th-5th Grade: 12:35pm - 1:15pm Your student's family member or friend will check in at the front gate and meet with them for lunch and/or shopping in the center courtyard with the flag pole. Flyers will come home this week with this information and an RSVP to fill out and return to your student's teacher or front office. |
